Core Group News May 26th, 2008

In core group 306 we have been enjoying the nice weather as often as possible. We have been working on

all subject matters with a baseball thematic unit.  We have been studying the Musculo-Skeletal System. The

students have learned that our muscles need bones in order for our body to have it’s shape. We are also

beginning to learn about steroids and the effects they can have on the human body. As a reward to go

along with our unit, our core group went to Riverfront Stadium to watch a Newark Bears  baseball game.

Overall, the last month in core group 306 has been fun and interesting.
