October is here!  It’s hard to believe that a month has past since school began. 

Homeroom 210 has settled in and made a great start.  In Social Studies we are learning

about the people that explored our great country so long ago.  Cells are the focus of our

studies in Science and we are focusing all our skills using microscopes in Lab.  The class

is more than halfway toward earning a group reward.  Way to go, 210!  This month our

lessons will have a scary backdrop, as we use Halloween to count treats in Math, and to

compose stories about trick-or-treating in Language Arts.  It was great to see everyone

at Back to School night.  We hope to see you all again at our next Parents’ Night on Oct. 22.
