This month our class is deeply enjoying the book Because of Winn-Dixie.  It is about a unique dog and

how he impacts on a lonely young girl’s life.  We really like reading about it because Winn Dixie does

funny things and we get to share funny things that our pets do!

We are busy learning about Fosterfield’s Farm.  It is located in Morristown, New Jersey and we are

visiting it Wednesday April 2nd.  It still runs the way it did decades ago!

We have started working on our science fair project.  The project will touch upon many aspects of 

conservation of our planet and education about foreign places such as Africa and the Amazon Rain Forest.

We will be making many visuals, projects, and preparing foods.  Right now we are collecting money

to be donated to save acres of land in Africa.
