Homeroom 104 news  (Z)   May 12th 2008

What started out to be a very straightforward project ended up to be

quite a different one for our Science Fair project.  While trying to keep

our original mice alive and test them for diet and maze running, we ended

up with a cage full of pinkies.   What that means is we had baby mice being born.

Mommy and babies are doing well and Alex, Josh, Sean, Logan and Richie are

doing a fantastic job of caring for our 14 mice in the lab.   Matt B and Justin

are lending a helping hand as well.  With the Science Fair fast approaching we have

been busy finishing our projects and mastering the Project boards. On another note,

all of the 8th graders in our homeroom did a fantastic job with the state testing

and all are glad that it is behind them.  Congratulations to Logan, Richie, and Josh for

doing so well in the Chess tournament.  Way to go, Logan! who made it to the 3rd

annual Invitational chess championship at the Gramon School, and made it

to the final four players.
