NEWS FROM THE ART ROOM

  We encourage our children's development through our Therapeutic Art Program.  Fran, our fully certified Special Education Counselor and K-12 Art Teacher guides our students and encourages them to experiment with new visual and tactile materials.  The creation of art has been proven to benefit student's physical and cognitive development, strengthen their critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as to promote cooperative behavior and social adaptation.  All of our students participate in our Art program in a small group setting which maximizes student-teacher involvement and interaction.
